Camp Kessler began as an excuse to get away from it all between a few friends from Music Bed,Vimeo and Kessler. What it turned out to be was an adrenaline filled weekend together with the addition of some seriously talented guys from the band Cereus Bright and an opportunity to both hangout and have fun, but also to capture some pretty amazing music in a unique way.

This video demonstrates how we accomplished our concept of completely automating a music video production with our motion control gear in the midst of having a blast of a weekend. The truth of the matter is, capturing the band took very little time once the scene was set and left us plenty of time to have a lot of fun.

HUGE thanks to our friends at Music Bed for hanging out and hooking us up with Cereus Bright. Thanks also to our friends from Vimeo who joined us and for making paintball in the rain happen and were all too willing to jump in a ghillie suit (apparently fulfilling a life’s dream) for some raucous fun.

Lastly, and certainly not least – thanks to LensProToGo for trusting us with so much gear for the weekend EVEN after explaining the shenanigans we’d be engaged in (that’s what insurance is for, eh?).

Was it the first annual? Maybe. Would we do it or something like it again? In a heartbeat. You don’t have an opportunity to create memories like these often – so when it happens – you long for the next chance.
