About The Filmmaker’s Intensive

The Filmmaker’s Intensive (TFMI), is an annual two week program that takes people out of their day to day environment and focuses them on the art & science of filmmaking. This year’s program is designed specifically to allow each person that attends to learn true non-fiction, documentary filmmaking from some of the best documentary filmmakers in the industry.

All filmmakers whose body of work is not only widely recognized but also highly regarded. They have all taught their craft for many years and will bring their their passion and knowledge of documentary filmmaking to the program.

In addition to the three days of Master Classes, the program will include sessions on camera, lighting, sound, scouting locations and shooting & conducting interviews.
