A Look Back
Another year of Cinegear has come and gone and we couldn’t be happier about how it went! We saw many familiar faces and had a chance to chat with many new ones as well. If you have never been to Cinegear, I definitely recommend attending in 2013. Above is a short montage of our time at Cinegear.
What’s to Come
Profusion is only 2 weeks away! Similar to Cinegear, Profusion is a smaller version of NAB where you have access to a showroom floor as well as Keynotes, Seminars & Training. If you are in the area, make sure to stop by and say hi!
About the Show
Profusion features the most complete selection of professional digital cameras and HD camcorders in the country, along with all the other new and amazing accessories.
You’ll also be inspired by the largest collection of creative minds in the imaging business ever assembled in this country – the personalities, innovators and polished pros who are turning heads, changing conventions and cranking out new ideas.
What ProFusion brings to Canada, you won’t find at any other tradeshow or event. The selection, the quality and quantity of brands, and the professional advice are unprecedented.
With digital cameras and camcorders continuing to make giant leaps, it’s an exciting time to take pictures and make videos. ProFusion is the pinnacle – where you can see and experience the best of the best. Gain a new perspective. See things differently. Get the big picture.
Profusion also offers KEYNOTES, SEMINARS AND TRAINING. Expand your knowledge when you attend one of the exciting & informative Pro Seminars on offer during ProFusion 2012. With the best & brightest talents in the industry being showcased, you’ll take home a wealth of wisdom in the latest gear, the hottest tips & techniques and a bit of insight into what’s right around the corner. A major addition to last year’s show – and a component of ProFusion that continues to set it apart from other imaging events – is the number of advanced workshops along with the quality of the presenters.
Last year’s list of lecturers featured world-renowned image-makers, including Jay Maisel, legendary New York photographer; Vincent Laforet, Los Angeles/New York based Director & DOP; Philip Bloom, independent filmmaker, also a leading HDSLR innovator; Douglas Spotted Eagle, author and celebrated video pro involved in multiple Emmy-winning productions; Seth Resnick, one of the most influential photographers of the decade; George Willis CSC, SASC, highly acclaimed film director; Gary Fong, successful wedding photographer and inventor of the Lightsphere light diffuser, plus many others.
