Kessler Roughs It With ‘The Deadliest Catch’

Deadliest Catch cameraman David Newsom showed how he gets the Deadliest Catch’s great transitional shots: the Kessler CineSlider!

On last night’s behind the scenes episode of ‘The Deadliest Catch’, Newsom shows off an improvised rig that includes the CineSlider and Oracle Control System. Newsom shows how he uses the CineSlider to capture “…very dynamic timelapses,” for Deadliest Catch’s transitions and establishing shots.
