Your Milkman: Production Diaries chronicles the entire course of production on Daniel Skubal’s short film “Your Milkman”, from every bump in the road to every major victory, this is a no holds barred look at what it takes to pull off a short film with a budget.

Daniel Skubal

Director

Daniel Skubal is currently the lead editor and member of the marketing, graphic design and video production teams at Zacuto. His passion for film has been a firmly planted seed since childhood. He graduated with a BA from Purdue University, double majoring in film/video studies and communication.

Daniel is an advocate of perpetually learning and is constantly trying to expand his knowledge on the craft of filmmaking and teach others as he continues towards his career goals. His current project, “Your Milkman” is part of an independent thesis that explores the relationship of Americana and nostalgia and its use in mainstream cinema.

Chris Voelz

Producer

Chris Voelz is one of two producers of “Your Milkman” and is part of the production team at Zacuto. He graduated from Purdue University with a BA in film/video studies. His interests lie in producing and graphic design.

Jake VanKersen

Producer

Jake VanKersen is a producer and helped in the writing process of “Your Milkman”. He studied Film and Video at Columbia College and currently works at Zacuto. He is a writer/director primarily with interests in producing.

Kevin Moss

Director of Photography

Kevin Moss studied at Columbia College and is the CEO of Beverly Ridge Pictures. His film credits include “3:10 to Yuma” and Chicago-produced feature “Chicago Overcoat”.

Claire Smalley

Unit Production Manager

Claire Smalley studied Digital Cinema at Depaul University and currently freelances in and around the Chicago area.

Alan Farris

Assistant Director

Alan Farris works freelance in and around the Chicago area is film production, typically as an assistant director. His film credits include work on projects such as Transformers 3, America’s Got Talent and Undercover Boss.
