Since 1995, Harry has led the design & quality assurance teams. He pioneered new automation in quality assurance effectively reducing the “time to market” for new products by over 200%.. He led the way in building strategic partnerships with Apple, AOL, Motorola, HP, Intel and IBM. Prior to founding Miramar Systems, Rabin launched EDI Computer Systems. With Rabin as President, EDI provided Novell with its largest contract for the Department of Defense Control Audit Agency. EDI was the principal architect for the DCAA nationwide network. Before becoming a technology entrepreneur, Mr. Rabin designed and manufactured medical related equipment for the EPA, computer terminals, digital multiplexors, line drivers and printer sharing devices while Rabin served as Senior Design Engineer for the University of California, Santa Barbara Physics, Institute of Environmental Stress and Computer Center. Again as a Senior Design Engineer and Manager at UCSB’s Computer Center he was tasked with the re-design and retrofit of the entire campus wide cable network. His work has played a role in contributing to the high-tech cottage industry that emerged outside of the University. Rabin holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Music and Drama from UCSB. Studied with the American Film Institute in Hollywood. Trained with Lee Strasberg.

Customers like Skywalker Ranch, Lucas Films, AOL, Apple, IBM, Warner Bros, and virtually every major TV & Cable network and enterprise involved in the creative arts and entertainment field depended on PC MACLAN to get their music and film integrated and ready for final edit and delivery.

Member of the Santa Barbara Film Commission, Has served as Chairman, President and Board member of the Santa Barbara Education Foundation and “Keep the Beat” organization from 2002-2010. Produced Michael McDonald Concert at the Granada Theater benefitting Music Education. Produced several videos for “Artists for the Arts Foundation. In total, Rabins efforts have helped to raise almost 5 million dollars for continued Arts and Music education in our public schools. Original founding member of SUPPORTMUSIC.COM an organization formed by NAMM that works along side of VH1 “Save the Music” and Grammy Awards National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to promote global awareness of the importance of Arts and Music in school.
